There's a difference between a boat tour and a private yacht charter. A boat tour is a ticket you buy for a scheduled group departure. You share the boat with 40 strangers, follow a fixed route, eat at a fixed time, and come back when the captain says so. It's fine if you want cheap and easy. But it's not memorable.
A private yacht charter is the opposite. You have the whole boat. You choose the departure time, the itinerary, the menu, the music. If you want to swim longer at the natural pool, you swim longer. If you want to skip the beach stop and head straight to snorkeling, you skip it. The captain works for you that day.

The most popular destination for full-day charters. Saona Island is a protected nature reserve with powder-white beaches, shallow turquoise water, and almost no development. Our private yacht trip includes a beach stop with lobster lunch, snorkeling over coral reefs, and a stop at the famous natural pool sandbar. It's a 7-hour experience and the one guests talk about most.
A smaller, quieter island about 90 minutes south of Punta Cana. Catalina is known for its snorkeling — the reef here is one of the healthiest in the Caribbean. It's a full-day trip with fewer crowds than Saona. If your group cares more about marine life and snorkeling than beach lounging, Catalina is the move.
A shallow sandbar in the middle of the ocean where you can stand in waist-deep turquoise water with nothing but sea and sky around you. It's a standard stop on most of our half-day and full-day routes. The crew drops anchor, puts on music, and sets up the floating bar. It's the most photographed moment on every charter.

For full-day charters, our driver picks you up at your hotel lobby in the morning. The ride to the marina takes 20–30 minutes depending on your resort. Half-day guests meet us directly at the marina.
Your captain and crew greet you at the dock. Life jackets and safety briefing first, then drinks start flowing as soon as you step on board. The music goes on, the lines come off, and you're on the water.

Tipping is not required but always appreciated. If your crew went above and beyond — and they usually do — a tip of 10–15% of the charter price is customary. You can tip in US dollars or Dominican pesos. Hand it directly to the captain and he'll share it with the crew.
Absolutely. Many of our private yacht charters are family groups with kids of all ages. Life jackets are provided in children's sizes. The crew will adjust the itinerary — calmer waters, shorter snorkeling stops, more beach time. Kids love the natural pool stops where the water is shallow and warm. Non-alcoholic drinks are always part of the open bar.
The waters off Punta Cana are generally calm, especially on the Caribbean side. Most guests don't experience seasickness. If you're concerned, take motion sickness medication 30 minutes before boarding. Our captains also know the calmest routes and can adjust if someone isn't feeling well. We always stay within sight of the coastline.
Bring sunscreen (reef-safe preferred), sunglasses, a towel, and your phone or camera. Wear a swimsuit and bring a cover-up. Everything else — food, drinks, snorkeling gear, floats, music system — is provided. Leave valuables at your hotel. We have dry storage on board for phones and wallets.
If you need to cancel more than 72 hours before your charter, you receive a full refund. Within 72 hours, we'll work with you to reschedule to another date during your trip. Weather cancellations are always fully refundable or rescheduled at no cost — safety comes first and we'll never take you out in unsafe conditions.
